Join one of the fastest growing hospitality teams in South Florida! True Grit Hospitality is seeking an experienced General Manager to join their Team at the New Voodoo Bayou located in Ft. Lauderdale on East Las Olas Blvd coming this Spring 2023. The GM is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while leading and developing our Team. Coaching and mentoring is a critical responsibility of the GM. The GM will ensure the highest level of quality food and service by implementing policies and procedures set forth by the company, while maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a fun work environment.

The GM will directly oversee the Management Team, and will be responsible for managing and delegating AORs in each department. The GM will ensure that all budgeted goals are being met or exceeded, and all safety and sanitation regulations are being adhered to. The GM will also oversee costs and inventory with the assistance of the AGM and the rest of the management Team. The GM will work directly with the Head Chef to ensure proper communication from the Culinary Team to the Service Team. The GM will work closely with the owner and Management Team to ensure all facets of the restaurant are functioning properly and efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the Team
